Damien Lewis is a 2nd generation Producer, Engineer & Mixer from Detroit. His father Dave Lewis was a renowned live rock & roll Engineer (Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, Mitch Ryder). Damien grew up on the road playing over 2,000 gigs as a drummer. By his early 20′s in Atlanta, Damien took to the studio and quickly became an in demand Producer, Engineer and Mixer. In 2008 he was hired by legendary Mixer Phil Tan. In 2010 Damien earned his first Grammy nomination for Recording contributions to Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”. To date his engineering contributions can be found on 15 Grammy Nominated songs or albums. 5 of which have won a Grammy. He's also an advisor for two music tech companies and a consultant for several record labels.
Damien has been a Governor of The Recording Academy's San Francisco and Atlanta Chapters, Chairman of The Producers & Engineers Wing San Francisco Chapter and on the National Advisory Committee. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
